Anywho, that's not what this is about. It's about people taking our pictures from here and cutting of the logo as if they did the work themselves. I remember when I first started posting pics that girls sent me and I would take the logo of the photographer off. This was met with great anger by the photographers. I didn't understand how copyrights worked and why they would get so mad. When I became a photographer shortly thereafter I quickly found out why. Turns out that the pictures belong to the photographers and NOT the models unless the model bought the copyrights from the photographer. Also turned out that getting flaky girls to shoot and pay you and not waste your time was way harder than just pointing and shooting. Therefore you wanted your credit to be seen every time the picture was seen for the work you put in.
See that logo on the bottom right? Repost all you want but keep it there please
As you can see, I've been going back it this HARD after a long hiatus. Updating everyday, coding and blah blah blah. I've noticed that our recent pictures have been reposted all over Tumblr, Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, yada yada. A lot of them with the logos of GGurls and the photographers who sent them removed. That's a big no no people. If we see it, we WILL file a DMCA (Digital Millennium Copyright Act) through Google on you for starters. Your accounts and websites can be shut down and you can even be fined. Now if you want to post our pictures with the logos on it, be our guest. In fact, thank you if you do. We encourage it. Not be an asshole at all... Just don't act like you did the work.
The pictures you see on here are ALWAYS credited to the photographer if known and we try to locate them if not (that's for the pics in the 'latest' section, the ones in the 'GGurls' section are always credited as they are sent to us). We don't steal pictures and we definitely don't try to take credit as if we did them. We have consent from both the photographers and the models to post them. They send them to us.
I remember when I first started doing GGurls, and it was just me by myself. The site didn't start off as a modeling site. Believe it or not I built it for my wife in celebration of a book she had published. Weird huh. Turned into a completely different thing.
