Sad news. Nate Dogg (Real name: Nathaniel Hale) died Tuesday March 15th, 2011. Caused of death was not revealed however Nate did suffer from two strokes in recent years. His claim to fame was singing on the Warren G track Regulators . We'll miss you Nate.

The legendary Lena Horne died this day on May 10th, 2010 at the age of 92. Lena Horne was the first black singer ever to be signed to a long term contract by a major Hollywood studio. She was best known for her great voice, good looks and the song Stormy Weather. Let's celebrate the long life of Lena and all that she contributed to the music and entertainment industry and the path she paved for black artist today.
