Facebook Connect

You can log in to GGurls.com using your Facebook credentials. Simply click the Facebook connect button and proceed from there. If the page doesn't refresh on it's own, a common problem with Internet Explorers then manually refresh it and you'll be logged in to GGurls with your Facebook account. Remeber to update your profile after doing so, especially your email information.

Internet Explorer

Although Microsoft created windows and had a great hand in creating the internet, Internet Explorer is not a great browser. You may experience irregularities on GGurls or any other site for that matter with IE. Suggestion: Download Mozilla Firefox. It is much easier, secure, faster and has tons of apps to help you.

Community

Completing your profile -To make a profile simply register and activate your account. Once activated you click the "community" tab on the top of the screen (top right menu). Once in the community section click the "profile" tab in the middle of the screen. From there you can navigate and follow the menu actions, i.e. upload pictures, change profile picture ( your default picture on your profile page), edit details and set your privacy standards.You can upload as many photos as you like. Please do not upload x-rated pictures as you will be banned. Any pictures you upload will also show on the front page of the site unless you have your privacy settings set not to.

Adding your pictures - Navigate to the community in the top menu. While in the community section go  the the applilcations tab. Navigate to "photos" and click it. To upload pictures you first have to create an album, go to "create album on the top left side of the page and click it. Name your album and give it a description. After you click save, you'll be taken to a new screen that will prompt you to upload pictures from your computer. Click Browse and locate your picture then click upload and your picture will start to upload (you can upload a maximum of 10 mbs). You can also upload as many pictures as you like. Once you have created an album you can upload pictures into it by navigating to it and repeating the same steps. You can also create more albums.

Tagging the front page - To use this feature simply click the "edit" button directly under the greeting "Welcome back (your username)". A rectangular box will appear and allow you to place text inside. Write what you like and the "edit" button will turn into "save". Once you finish click "save" and your text will now appear on your page and the front page of the community section and the main front page.

Adding applications - Applications are plug-ins to your profile that allow specific functions. Simply go to "browse" while in the application menu and add or delete applications for your profile (core applications cannot be modified). Some applications need to be set to show their functioning. Simply go to settings for the particular application and navigate from there.

Special Applications  - The "My Dizzler Media Jukebox" application can function in two ways. Simply get an embed code from Dizzler (requires registration). The embed code will look like this:

Simply take the section from the code in the parentheses after FlashVars= (which looks like this:)

and place it in the ID box in the application. This example code is just that, an example if you want your own playlist make one at Dizzler.com. You can also set the height and width of the player in the application.

The "Twitter" application simply needs your twitter member Id and not the entire url of your twitter account

The same is true for the "Stalker" application

Points - You earn points by participating in certain activities around the site, i.e. forum post, commenting e.t.c. You earn the biggest points by inviting other people (tab: Friends, Invite Friends) to GGurls. Points will be redeemable for future events on the site.

Viewing Others Profiles - To view other members profiles you can either click on various links around the site with members profile names or pictures. Once there you can message other members, send friend requests, leave wall post if the member allows it and view their photos if their privacy settings allow it.

Videos

Adding Videos - Simply navigate to the Video button in the main menu (at the very top) and while in the video section click "add video" Follow the instructions there. The links you need to use are url's (web address) of that particular site. GGurls use video embedding from other video sites to save space and reduce uploading of possible malicious coding. All major video sites are accepted. An example Youtube url will look like this:

place the entire code into the proper box and remember to PUBLISH the video. If not the video will stay in the queued area until a administrator publishes it.

Note: You can also add videos in the same manner in the community section separately from the video tab. A video added in the community section will not show up in the video section and vice-versa.

Blog

Adding a Blog - Navigate to the Blog section in the main menu (at the very top) and then click the "my account" button while there. Follow the instructions. Remember to give you blog entry a heading if you wish to publish it.

Forum

Making a Post or New Thread - Navigate to the Forum section in the main menu (at the very top) and then click the "categories" button. Then choose a forum and look "new thread" to start a new topic. To reply to a thread simply enter it and look for "reply"

Casino

You can use your user points and gamble them in the Casino. Simply play a game a wager an amount. You have to transfer your points in your casino wallet to your user points and vice-versa to play. (!) Remember to cash out during the game to keep your points! We're not responsible if you forget!

Featured GGurls

What most sites call eye candy, is a list of selected GGurls from the site and commercial promotion of select celebrity models. If you would like to become a GGurl, write us an email stating so and send at least 4 or 5 pictures to be featured. If selected you will then be sent a questionaire to complete for your feature. You must also send a model release form stating that the pictures are of you, that you're at least 18 years of age and that you give us permission to use the pictures for the feature and promotional purposes. You must also state that you are the owner of the pictures. A staff of 3 decide if you will be featured or not. Please send professional pictures, as no webcam, phone or low quality pictures will be accepted.
