This topic is for webmasters in the know about Alexa rankings. I'm not about to explain it to you if you don't know about it because as of right now I could give a fuck less about Alexa Rankings. After this post Alexa is non-existent to me. Recently our traffic has been going up. This month alone we're easily on pace to get more traffic than we ever received so you'd think our Alexa Rank would be climbing right? Nope, it's giving us record lows. We've tried EVERYTHING to boost our Alexa Rankings up and to be quite honest the shit ain't worth it. The bar moves whenever the fuck it feels like it. Now we already know that Alexa is super inaccurate and really don't mean much but it's frustrating when the shit looks like it's purposely pissing on you. We've noticed that sites in our genre have gone down right along with us in their rankings. It's well known that Alexa actually target certain sites and purposely lower their score with algorithms. Well now we're convinced. Even after getting dozens of regular users to install a custom made toolbar it did absolutely nothing.
Use Quantcast instead. Compete actually base their findings using Alexa too. Fuck. Alexa. No signs of Alexa will be on our site anymore.
P.S. don't even waste your money going "Alexa Pro". It won't help you one bit.
